...yeah, it happened. I don't have many pictures to share - it was at the Skagit Casino and Resort - so we didn't take our cameras, but there are a few so here they are! :)
This blog was originally created to update out of town family on the happenings of our wedding planning. Now that our wedding has come and gone, we have decided to keep adding to it so that our friends and family can see pictures of some of our life adventures. It keeps us all young ;)

My Job
A lot of people give me a hassle abut the fact that I am an Avon lady, while never asking why. Well yes, if I work hard, I can earn 6 figures. But that is not why I am a part of the community. I wanted to work with a company with something I could be proud to a part of. Not only is Avon the top direct sales company in 145 countries, it supports two causes that I am behind 100%. The first is the Empowerment Campaign. Reese Witherspoon is our honorary chair person, and has become the face of Empowerment, Crusade, and Minerals make-up. The campaign is to end violence against women. 100% of all empowerment sales go to support domestic violence programs

The second is the Breast Cancer Crusade. "The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade was launched in 1992 as a small pioneering program in the U.K. Avon in the U.S. adopted the Crusade the following year. Over the last 18 years, Avon philanthropy has raised and donated more than $700 million to breast cancer programs around the world, supporting cutting-edge research to find a cure for or prevent breast cancer as well as programs that enable all patients to access quality care."

So this is what I do for work. I support Breast Cancer research, Empowerment to end domestic violence, and I help recruit and train others to do what I do. I am so lucky to have a fiance who supports my choice in work as well. Yes I am still going to school to become a Music major who doesn't yet know if I want to teach or go into arts therapy, as long as Avon supports these two causes, and while they come up with more foundations to back, I will be an Avon lady as well!

23 DAYS! ARE YOU SERIOUS!
Hey all! Long time no post! Sorry I haven't gotten pictures up lately, have been swamped with wedding planning, school and work lately! Finally got some time to squeeze in a quick update. First of all, can you all believe that we are under a month out? AAH!
Anyways today we went and tried out the restaurant for our rehearsal dinner, and let me tell you OM NOM NOM (for those who don't know this term, it means YUM!!!!!!!) We also did a walk through at the venue and you would be amazed the amount of stress it relieves just having a visual of where you are getting married! I had goosebumps the entire time we were there thinking "This is the place I will spend my last moments as Ms. Crosby-Toms and become MRS. CLEMENSON" >insert cheesy grin<
My matron of honor has about convinced me to hire someone to do my hair for me too. I am not very trusting to others with my hair, especially after the hack job of '08 and the sad sad up-do for my sweethearts dance in '02 that made my face look like a pale jam jar. But she trusts this place so I am going to call and check it out tomorrow.
Hopefully we will have some fun pictures to share with you guys in the next few days, if the weather holds out I really want to take the pups hiking! I also have been slacking on the pictures of my awesome new gifts in use, and the thank you cards that go with some of them... eek!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Jasmine

What we do for fun!
Thought you guys would like to see what we do for fun! Some of these are from this weekend others are older pictures. This is where we mesh like peanut butter and jelly. What brought us together as friends in the beginning.
So as you can see what brought us together was cars and nature. It is one of our favorite things to do together to hop in the car, drive somewhere beautiful, and enjoy nature for the day. Weather its the beach, or a mountain, its the best way to spend our time together! Hope you enjoyed these pictures of some of the fun things we have done over the past two years!
This is from this past weekend. We took the dogs up to Walker Valley Off Road Park in Mount Vernon for some wheeling.
I was watching the boys pull a guy out of the mud.
I got to drive down from the trail :)

I wanted to get a better view so I climbed up on top of the rig.

Tossing Bouquet!
So I just whipped together a prototype of a tossing bouquet. I am trying to decide if I prefer the all purple that I saw a picture of:
Or the purple and green that I just made:
I just realized one day that $800 was a little excessive to pay the florist for 5 bouquets, 5 boutonnieres, and 2 corsages, and chose to do my own flowers so for way less I will have more flowers!

37 days!!
UPDATE:
There are only 37 days left until our wedding! We are getting down to the tiny details, cake topper, decorations (lights, pictures etc) and I am looking forward to the big day to be here so I can show off my pretty pretty dress that I have been keeping hidden since MARCH! and so I can share my joy with all of you while we tie the knot.
